On Saturday, February 5th, E@W will be hosting our first volunteer training session of the new year. The session will be held from 12 noon – 1pm in the conference room of the Austin Groups for the Elderly Building. (Our office is also located in this building.) The address is 3710 Cedar Street (map).
We will be meeting to discuss the new classroom position of Student Support Specialist, as well as training volunteers on new intake activities. We will also be petitioning volunteers for other “1-time” opportunities for involvement, such as collecting student video testimonials that may be posted on our website or used for other marketing purposes.
