Who is English at Work?
English at Work is more than 300 women and men from 24 countries around the globe. They have come to Austin from cities as far away as Suray, Bhutan and as nearby as Monterrey, Mexico.
Together they speak over 10 different languages and are now learning English; making some students bilingual and others quadrilingual.
English at Work students are fishermen, doctors, CPAs, cooks, tailors and teachers. They can toss pizza, heal wounds, sew dresses, and are up to the challenge of learning a new language.
They are English at Work.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning English at work, give us a call and we’ll help you organize it. Se habla espanol.
If you are interested in learning English and you do not have a job, call us and we will try to find a class in your area.

Class Schedule:
Classes meet at least once a week for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on the needs of the students and the availability of the space.
Price:
Each student pays a $20 registration fee at the beginning of the semester. This covers the cost of the instructional packet that is used over the course of the semester.
